On this solemn day, I was honored to be part of the Dennehy Public Relations team for the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance in Boston.

More than 400,000 meals were made by hundreds of volunteers from dozens of sponsors who participated during the event in the city. The Boston event was part of a nationwide effort to make 8.5 million meals in cities across the country for food banks and hunger relief programs.

It was humbling to have a very small part in a huge effort alongside my friend Julie Dennehy to help those who are hungry in our communities while also remembering that dark day in 2001.
