When I started my business, I had a few hard stops in my business plan, including only taking on work that was going to be life giving and not life taking for me.
For the past ten years, I’ve attended luge races and cheered on the hardworking USA Luge athletes as I worked for one of the team sponsors.
There are no words for the tremendous honor of being a member of the team, building relationships with athletes, working with the media to share stories, and seeing our athletes stand on the podium! (I’m not crying, you’re crying!)
Let me tell you — these athletes work hard! Thank you to all the athletes, USA Luge staff, my new friends at Utah Olympic Park and everyone for your warm welcome this weekend, and to Gordy Sheer for the opportunity of a lifetime.
We are off on a holiday break until the next race in early January in Latvia and then onward to World Championships in Germany!
As I depart from my first, in-person World Cup race as a member of USA Luge (and thaw out from the bone chilling cold weather), my heart is happy, my soul is full of joy, and my work is truly giving me life.
